** Update (2) 3rd February: new dmesg info/data I need capture the OS desktop video of a rmote host, hopefully at least 1080p/HD, from the USB3.I need to use my Logitech Streamcam webcam at 1080p (1920x1080) at 60fps but it neither work in OBS Studio, nor in guvcview nor if I want to save the output as a video file, ffmpeg freezes :( Thanks in advance for you help.
Is there a streaming tool that could be run on the 4B that consumes less memory and other resources than OBS? It already is standard to an extent, but it's terribly unfriendly for new manufacturers and developers to access in real-world applications.
Or the industry (probably Khronos) needs to standardise the real-world interfacing of technologies like OpenGL and OpenMAX.
This option is obscured and abstracted out so much that OBS Studio doesn't use it, it only uses OpenGL to render the desktop.Įither OBS needs an extra plug-in for omxplayer/ffmpeg/libavcodec instead of the software-only version it uses, OpenMAX is supported by the Raspberry Pi and this works with ffmpeg but only as an extra option.
